Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Yummy Feed Inc. ("Yummy Feed", "we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the Yummy Feed mobile application and related services (the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may not impersonate others, create an account for someone else without authorization, or use another person's account. Notify us at yummyfeedapp@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. License to use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

4. Your content

"Your Content" means anything you create, upload, or share through the Service — recipes, photos, makes, ratings, comments, profile details, and the like.

5. User-generated content and zero-tolerance policy

Yummy Feed is a community. To keep it safe, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior.

You may not post, upload, or share content, or behave in a way, that:

Enforcement. We provide tools to report content and to block abusive users (see Section 6). We review reports of objectionable content and act on them — including removing the content and ejecting the offending user — within 24 hours. Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or permanent termination of your account, at our discretion and without prior notice.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: interfering with or disrupting the Service or its security; accessing it through unauthorized means; scraping or harvesting data; uploading malware; circumventing rate limits or access controls; or using the Service to violate any law or the rights of others.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

9. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, branding, and the "Yummy Feed" name and logo — is owned by Yummy Feed Inc. and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license in Section 3, these Terms grant you no rights in the Service.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (including Supabase, Apple, Google, PostHog, Sentry, and DeepSeek for recipe import) as described in our Privacy Policy. Recipe import fetches public web pages you choose; we are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or content of third-party websites or of imported recipes. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any recipe, nutrition, or other information is accurate, complete, or suitable for your needs. You are responsible for using your own judgment regarding food preparation, allergies, and dietary needs.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Yummy Feed Inc. AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yummy Feed Inc. and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts for any dispute, except where prohibited by law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Apple App Store — additional terms

If you download the app from the Apple App Store, the following also applies, and to the extent it conflicts with the rest of these Terms, it controls for the Apple-sourced app:
